Happy Halloween, everyone!

We have another spooky day of exhilarating festivities, candle-lit pumpkins, sweets and costumes galore. Therefore, I urge you to have fun on this bewitching day.

I thought I’d try something a little different this time which doesn’t include the usual clan of Halloween cryptids (werewolves, witches, ghosts and black cats), but rather something from good ole West Virginia folklore.

The Mothman cometh! Red Eyes, humanoid, moth wings and an insatiable lust for lamps. Be not afraid, sit down and listen to the foreboding tales of this winged creature of the night. Maybe keep a few mothballs on hand – just in case. 😁
